Inod Fisuf's Journal, Entry #003

Autumn has come.

I feel I have picked a particularly uneventful location to set up camp. Part of me is disappointed, though I am mostly thankful for this. Our encampment, nestled deep within the earths bosom, is safe and becomes safer by the day as we build archery ranges and murder-holes strategically in the walls. I have ordered a large expanse of the mountain soil hollowed out for future farming, just in case. I have heard that Dwarves of lesser intelligence are drawn to such large subterranean spaces, and fully intend on taking advantage of this. Little do they know that upon their arrival they will be put to work in they bowyer shoppes and the militia!!
